For a town with a population of 17 this is a really weird web site.
A great Carnival Site, lots of pictures.
The site for the guest house I stayed in in Alaska. Pictures of their bears and booking info.

The British Tarantula Society has absolutely no connection with anything on this page but my brother organises the annual show so I promised to put a link here. If you like spiders this is the place to go.
Diana's web site isn't about travel as such and is a lot more ecclectic than mine but it does have some very nice graphics and she has been kind enough to praise my site and include a link to it. It is well worth a look.
IMPORTANT NOTE !
The guest book listed below is my old one. It probably doesn't work but feel free to take a look.  I've left it there so that if it ever starts working again I can migrate the messages to my new one which can be found at the top of the this page and also on my Home Page.

Some of the Links on this page relate to travel, some to places I've been and some just to my favorite sites. Nobody pays me to advertise this stuff. They are all just sites that might (or might not) be of some interest to you. Check them out if you think thay sound interesting.

There are lots of companies out there offering the kind of travel that is described on this site. Below are links to some of the ones I know to be good either from personal experience of them or from other people's recommendations. To find others have a look at Wanderlust Magazine which also has a link below
Some of the places I've Visited have their own web sites, often more than one. I'll be putting more links here later, for now you can check out the ones below.
And finally...
... a selection other sites included for all sorts of reasons, mostly because I like them.
Richard Lederer's Verbivore site is one of my favorites. If you love the English language it should be one of yours too.
The Apostrophe Protection Society is dedicated to opposing the tide of apostrophe misuse. If you think that there is nothing wrong with shops that advertise POTATO'S AND CARROT'S then you should look at this site NOW.
Lots (and lots and lots and lots) of illustrations from all sorts of people for the Alice In Wonderland books. Did you know Salvador Dali did some ? No ? Check this site then.
And similarly if you have a burning desire to read Jabberwocky in German, French, Polish or even Klingon have a look at this one.
CSICOP is the place to go to read about scientific investigation of claims of the paranormal. X-Files fans start here to see what real life has to offer.
Are there alligators in the sewers, secret Satanic messages in the lyrics of popular songs, fried rats in your take away ? This is the place to check all those urban legends.
I'm registered on Friends Reunited. If you ever wondered what happened to all your old school friends you should be too.
