I always write up my trips as soon as I get back.
Almost always.
With Madasgascar events conspired against me. I was busy when I got back so that I was a long time getting to the task. Then I discovered that the notes that I had taken while I was on the trip - which had been sketchy to begin with - had gone missing. I tried to write the trip up but about half way through I was already off on my next trip and when I returned I wrote that one up instead. The result was that I never completed the journal for the Madasgascar trip. All of which is my way of explaining why this page contains less text than the others. I have no reliable journal and so there are many of my pictures that I can hardly identify as being Madagascar at all let alone specifically where and what. It's bad news and good news though. Less text more pictures. C'est la vie.
