The original purpose of the site was to post photographs of my trip around the Americas.
That's all been taken care of in the section (reachable from the Home page only) called 'Tour of the Americas'.
Having done that I decided to expand the site to include all my previous journeys. Now I can't honestly claim that they were on the same scale. We aren't talking about spending nine months sleeping in tents. These trips were all one, two or occasionally three weeks and mostly in hotels.

That doesn't mean they weren't enjoyable trips because they were. Every trip is special for its own reasons and all of these trips were special in their individual ways. They just weren't 'epic'.

The first trip I ever did isn't included here because I don't really have a lot of pictures from it - mainly because my film along with everything else I owned was stolen in Florida. There are other trips that may or may not be found under 'Other Journeys'. The best trips, the important trips, have all been given their own pages.

You might notice that unlike the 'Tour of the Americas' section there is no page here for 'People'. There are photographs of the people involved but no credits or name checks. Keep in mind that some of these trips were ten years or more ago. I can't remember everyone (or in some cases anyone) who was there. If you have stumbled across this page and recognize yourself in any pictures mention it in the guest book. leave an e-mail address there if you like. (Although you might not want to do that. I don't put mine down because the last time I did I had to change it a little later to stop the thousands of spam mails that I had immediately started to get)
